Rooted in heritage, our craft began with distilling traditions and family recipes handed down across three generations — starting with a Croatian immigrant who escaped World War II and rebuilt his life in Australia.

Born from tradition, refined for today. After Hours Distillers® is an Australian-owned and made company bringing to life premium alcoholic beverages with a focus on quality, sustainability, and innovation.
Our story begins with a quiet legacy — one of our founders, Andrew Lovric, grew up learning the art of distilling from his father, who brought his knowledge and passion for traditional spirits from Croatia after World War II. What began as a family passion has evolved into a modern distilling house committed to producing exceptional drinks for the Australian market.
Together with a team of co-founders — including his two sons and world-class beverage technologist Michael Gordon — the decision was made to bring these refined, time-honoured techniques to life using Australian-grown ingredients and a progressive approach to product development.
From small-batch Rakija to bold new takes on spirits and ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages, we operate from our very own renewable energy-powered facility in the beautiful coastal town of Wollongong, NSW Australia. Every After Hours product is a blend of heritage, craftsmanship, and forward-thinking.
